Transferred by restored army Jeep not only for viewing the curved beaches and Danang city but to Son Tra Peninsula, which is a nature reserve too. On the hike, you will have opportunities to spot animals, birds and plantations, some of them only can be seen in Son Tra.
From your hotel, our Jeep driver will drive you to Son Tra Peninsula and start your wildlife-spotting trip on Monkey Mountain. The species expected to be seen on the tour is the Red-shanked Douc LangurThe trip will be led by an wildlife expert who has worked for an International Conservation Project in Son Tra for years so no one knows Son Tra better than him.
When the tour finishes, the Jeep driver will drive through the “forgotten roads” leading to the former heliport of the USA and Linh Phuoc Pagoda, which has a huge the Goddess of Mercy white statue where you take the chance to learn about the local religion and beliefs.The tour ends at your place of choice.

Monkey Mountain Da Nang is famous for stunning seaside mountains with high biodiversity and is vital to the Red-shanked Douc Langur (Pygathrix nemaeus) population in Vietnam, 37 km (22 miles) up the coast line from Hoi An. Son Tra Nature Reserve is also hosts a former US military base from the American/Vietnam war.
Observing the Red-shanked Douc Langur in their natural habitat is the highlight of the eco-wildlife tour but is also a destination for bird watchers. Additionally, you will see many species of reptiles, insects and and local wildlife.
Bird Watcher’s Paradise: Monkey Mountain Da Nang hosts over 118 birds species including the Blue Rock Thrush, Green-eared Barbet, Racket-tailed Treepie, Greater Racket-tailed Drongo, Crimson Sunbird, Olive Back Sunbird, Black-throated Laughingthrush, White-crested Laughingthrush, Laced Woodpecker, Black Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Shrika, White bellied Eagle, Lesser Fish to name a few.
Plant species include: Moraceae, Dipterocarpaceae, Myrtaceae, Fagaceae. The most important endangered species population of Parashorea stellata is still protect in the reserve and it is primary for Red-shanked Douc Langurs diet
